Mini Zap the Gap

Diversity. Social justice. Interpersonal relationships. Restorative practices.

Keynote speaker Tyrone Botelho, Co-Founder of CircleUp Education, will be presenting an introduction to restorative practices. CircleUp Education provides trainings to schools locally and throughout the country in three interconnected thematic areas: diversity and social justice, interpersonal relationships, and restorative practices. The mission of CircleUp Education is “to ensure that people have access to a variety of skills and practices in order to cultivate thriving communities.”

Mr. Botelho will speak to the power of attuning to interpersonal relationships and how to begin to incorporate restorative practices into any school system or setting. This introduction is meant to provide attendees with an overview of the purpose and promise of restorative practices, as well as some food for thought for next steps in your classrooms, schools, and districts.
