ECET² Bay Area 3.0 is modeled after an annual national conference of teacher leaders designed to provide a forum for exceptional teachers to learn from one another and celebrate the teaching profession. The convening is premised on the belief that teachers are influential in creating educational and economic opportunities for children. ECET² convening organizers hold the belief that the degree to which teachers collaborate with, learn from, and support one another impacts their ability to ensure students thrive in the educational environment.
You have the opportunity to join teacher leaders from across the Bay Area Region to engage around the theme of "Equity and Leadership." As an ECET² participant, you will hear teacher keynote addresses modeled after the popular TED Talk Series. You will able to select from a number of teacher-led breakout sessions designed to address the needs of historically underserved students. You will also engage in Colleague Circles to share and address common challenges, and you will be treated to a lovely breakfast and a buffet lunch as well as a prize drawing.
You may register to attend ECET² Bay Area 3.0 convening to be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017, by clicking here. When you register, you will have the opportunity to nominate your teacher leader colleagues. We strongly encourage you to come with a team of teacher leaders from you school or district. We look forward to your participation.
