FOURTH ANNUAL INTENTIONAL TEACHER FAIR
The fourth annual Intentional Teacher Fair hosted by the San Mateo County Office of Education will showcase the work of early childhood educators on May 2, 3, and 5, 2014.
REDWOOD CITY, CA – April 23, 2014 – To highlight San Mateo County’s deep commitment to high-quality early learning programs, the San Mateo County Office of Education’s Early Learning Support and Curriculum Services Division will sponsor its fourth annual Intentional Teacher Fair. The event is open to the public and will be held on Friday, May 2; Saturday, May 3; and Monday, May 5 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at San Mateo County Office of Education, 101 Twin Dolphin Drive, Redwood City.
The theme of this year’s fair is “How Observation and Reflection Can Transform Your Teaching.” Preschool, transitional kindergarten, and kindergarten teachers will showcase the intentional and reflective teaching strategies they use in the classroom daily. Panel displays will show how teachers closely observe and study the significance of early learning within the complexity of teaching young children.
