The Curriculum and Instruction Services Program of the San Mateo County Office of Education supports schools and districts in the areas of instructional leadership, professional development, and curriculum support in raising the achievement of all students.
General Curriculum and Instruction
General Curriculum and Instruction Services provides content area resources, administrative and instructional support, and deep, sustained professional development to educators in order to enhance teaching and learning in San Mateo County.
The STEM Center provides teachers and administrators research-based professional development in STEM content and pedagogy to engage, educate, and inspire our 21st Century Learners.
ACT II - Clear Administrative Services Credential Program
The ACT II Program is a two-year induction program that is coaching-based, grounded in the California Professional Standards for Educational Leaders (CPSEL), and 21st century leadership skills. It combines targeted professional development with individualized mentoring and support. Participant administrators will receive 56 hours of professional development over the two-year course of the program. Professional development will be focused on effective school/district leadership in the 21st century.
