The San Mateo County Office of Education Bilingual Dual Immersion Network brings together educators across our county to share experience and knowledge, as well as time to network, collaborate, and cultivate new learning from colleagues who are currently working in dual immersion schools or others who are considering starting a program. The network also provides support and resources for programs across the county. Meetings are open to district/school staff that have implemented or plan to implement a Dual Immersion or Language Immersion Program at their school site.
Network Meetings and Learning Walks
Monthly Network meetings are combined with instructional rounds. Each session occurs at a local exemplary Spanish language site. Each visit will center around an observable focus, followed by a collaborative debrief, and ending with a network meeting to discuss the latest policies, legislation, research, and grant opportunities focused on DL schools.
