The SMEdCenter Web Portal (aka the ed1stop portal) is a repository of digital content (including streaming video) and learning resources, selected to enhance student learning, improve instruction, and support student achievement. The SMEdCenter (ed1stop) Portal provides subscription-based services, including video streaming, and both fee-based and free online, standards-based educational resources that have been selected to provide effective support to K-12 programs. Subscription resources are accessed through a single sign-on process. Teachers and students have 24-hour access to the resources. Support and professional learning resources are provided to teachers.
The portal is provided to San Mateo County school districts via a partnership between the San Mateo County Office of Education and the Contra Costa County Office of Education.
