(2 Day Event) Oct 14, 2017 - Oct 28, 2017
Event Dates: Oct 14, 2017 | Oct 28, 2017
The quality and intentionality of adult-child interactions makes a critical difference in how children learn in early childhood education (ECE) settings. Powerful interactions are those interactions in which a teacher intentionally connects with a child to extend his or her learning.
In this 2-day workshop series, we will explore the Powerful Interactions three-step methodology: Be Present, Connect and Extend Learning. These strategies support practices measured on the Instructional Support domain of the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS®) and will create deeper opportunities for you to teach and for children to learn.
Participants should be familiar with the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS®) and are expected to attend all days of this 2-day training series.
Please bring a photo of your classroom showing your students working.
