Resources for Monthly Recognitions

At the San Mateo County Office of Education, we believe in the power of recognition to affirm identity, uplift underrepresented voices, and build inclusive learning environments.

Each month offers an opportunity to celebrate the diverse histories, cultures, and contributions that shape our schools and communities. SMCOE supports educators and school leaders with curated resources to help bring these observances to life in meaningful, relevant, and age-appropriate ways.
