San Mateo County Students Recognized in C2E2 ePortfolio Competition

The San Mateo County Office of Education is proud to celebrate the accomplishments of students across the county who participated in the 2025 Career & College ePortfolio (C2E2) Competition. This countywide event showcases student creativity, career readiness, and innovation through digital portfolios that highlight skills, experiences, and future goals.

More than 3,200 high school students submitted ePortfolios this year, with $5,000 in prizes awarded to top entries. Twelfth-grade students who met the completion benchmark were also recognized with graduation honor cords, celebrating their dedication and achievement.

First Place Winners – $500 Each

Industry professionals from across the region, including representatives from CSU East Bay, San Carlos Children’s Center, NovaWorks, and the San Mateo County Office of Education, volunteered their time as judges. Each portfolio received thoughtful evaluation and personalized feedback, helping students reflect on their growth and explore future career pathways. Judges expressed how impressed they were with the creativity and professionalism students demonstrated in their Career Technical Education (CTE) classrooms.

The Career & College ePortfolio (C2E2) Competition empowers San Mateo County high school students to showcase their academic achievements, personal development, and career aspirations through digital portfolios. These portfolios serve as tools for both postsecondary planning and career exploration, connecting students with educators, industry experts, and the broader community. Each year, the competition also strengthens connections between classrooms and industry, highlighting the innovation, skill, and dedication of San Mateo County students.
