National Women’s History Month is an opportunity to recognize and honor the struggles and achievements of American women throughout our nation’s history. Women have contributed to our nation in countless ways, leading communities through labor, civil rights, and other movements; championing education reform; and establishing philanthropic institutions to create a more fair and just society.

The San Mateo County Office of Education partners with all schools to expand opportunities for girls and women to develop their leadership skills, eliminate bias in education and the workforce, and encourage educators to learn more about the contributions of women. Below are a few resources to get started.
