School Counselor Services
School counselors deliver programs that have an impact on student growth in three domain areas: career development, academic development and social/emotional development (ASCA, 2019). Comprehensive school counseling programs are considered an integral part of the educational experience which enables all students to achieve success in school.
SMCOE coordinators can support K-12 school counselors and LEAs with professional development to create comprehensive school counseling programs and activities that impact growth for all students.
