Guidelines for Accessible LCAPs

School districts are required to make their LCAPs accessible, pursuant to Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, before posting it on their website’s home page (California Ed. Code 52065). Please note that LCAPs do not need to be accessible in order to receive approval from the San Mateo County Office of Education.

Below are links to resources for creating accessible Word Documents and PDFs. Additional resources for creating accessible LCAP documents can be found in the 2019-20 LCAP File Cabinet. Questions or requests for training can be directed to Anne Bartlett, Public Communications Specialist, at (650) 802-5558.
